Battlegrounds

I was in Uru last season and got booted to Plat I don't care how far I get booted since I get the rewards but I feel it's hard getting back to gladiator circuit because the people I'm facing are like top tier bg players in early season

The complication in the Victory Track now is that we have the Summoners Fest running and to get the points you need to be winning matches every two days from the Battlegrounds objectives. And many players simply have zero chance against rosters with multiple 7*R4s.
Yes it's a competition. But putting the Summoners Fest points into a competitive mode like BG feels a little off. It does enable the rich to get richer (and I'm not taking about FTP or anything like that).
The Colorado Rockies are the worst team in the MLB. By your logic, they shouldn't have to play the top teams that are in the same league as you.
BGs is like baseball. You're in the same league, some will be good some will be bad but in order to get to the world series, you have to face and beat the competition. If you can't beat those rosters, then you don't deserve to advance.
Its not i don't want to play.. but getting match against whale accounts who own the top attackers and defender at 7* variety is just deflating.
Baseball also doesn't have a regular season where the teams that dominated in the majors start the next season in the minors where they face minor league teams or amateur teams, with MLB awarding massive bonuses for beating them--bonuses which are then spent on buying the best available players and developing them.
I guess we'll see you at the summoner fest battlerealm brawl if you're that good!
Another brilliant implementation from Kabam… get things somewhat sorted to get people to push, and then blow it all up for the next two months. Well done
What you're responding to still doesn't make a ton of sense, but just wanted to clear that up. Yes, baseball doesn't have a hard cap, but they do have significant penalties that increase as teams spend more. Of course, the billionaires don't really have to care.
