Questions regarding game mechanics

After returning to MCOCasino (the new game mode goated) a few months ago, I've started gotten interested in some of the game's mechanical aspects such as how damage works, challenge rating, how DoT is calculated, etc.
While most of my questions have been answered (thanks 8-year-old forum posts), there are still 2 that are on my mind (sorry if they sound dumb):
1) How are stats calculated? I know about diminishing returns and how they're converted into percentages when entering a fight but how are they calculated when creating a character? For example, Okoye's Armor Rating is 248 as a maxed out 4-Star and 260 as a maxed out 5-Star. How did the devs get to that number?
2) How is the character PI calculated? Is there a formula for this number? For example, Okoye has a PI of 8209 as a maxed out 5-Star.
