Rank 4s have killed WhaleGrounds

What’s the point to push in GC if every matchup your opponent has 10 rank 4s to your 2. There literally no justification for any of the poors to play. Skill can’t save your from money as money always wins. WhaleGrounds will be dead unless a fair matchmaking system is quickly implemented

    Did someone attack my battlegrounds!!!!!! GRRRRR 😡 I SPENT all this money to beat the Free2Peons, clearly you just suck at the game unlike ME!!!!. How will I have FUN in the game if I can't spend money to WIN!!!!! Clearly it's a SKILL ISSUE!!!! that you don't want to spend hundreds every year just to even have a chance at competing with pro players such as myself...

    And if you play BGs you will come across a lot of players with many R4s that still suck. You cannot pay your way to the top. You can't even pay your way out of Uru (yes, there are many whale accs stuck in Uru and Gamma)

    You overestimate the amount of skill it takes to climb with a stacked roster. Obviously an uncollected player with a full deck of rank 4s will lose to a valiant player with the same deck. Once you reach Valiant you have enough knowledge to compete without getting knocked out in 10 seconds.

    It also doesn't help that a lot of the people with stacked rosters aka the biggest spenders are all 30+ year old adults that play for fun so it's not like they were ever getting past uru.

    There's a reason why people with $3000 computers can still end up in bronze on other games yet you will never see an account with 10+ rank 4s in any rank besides vibrainium/GC

    R4 means nothing in this meta. I’ve face 12 r4s and still won because of the node combos.

    FTP can get into GC, but anything better than that is no guarantee, I don’t like it either but that’s how it is

    BG’s is an open competition with us all competing for the same rewards. Your roster sounds under developed so why do you expect to perform well?

    You can’t complain about whales when you’ve not even done what you can to achieve all the available rank 4’s as a ftp.

    Lol i am facing 20+ rank4 roster in every matchup in high quant & low mysterium

    Welcome to the Mcoc Whalegrounds u spend u gonna compete otherwise just stay back and think how bad u are ( u can't spend neither u have skills to face those spenders )

    You'd probably still blame your losses on the whales and RNG.
    That's my pull lmao. I got lucky from the 2020 gifting event and got a Featured 6* crystal and pulled the CGR in the photo.

    The statement money always wins over skill is completely untrue. Trappy won the bgs season last month. He now has a paid roster, but a while ago he didn’t and we was placing in the lower celestial tiers. Skill can and will win over money if you’re not significantly under-ranked.

    On a separate note, anytime someone posts a bgs complaint on the forums, you’re going to get flamed. I’m sure we’d love to help you plan out other content to upgrade your roster or who you should rank up, etc. That’s by far the most helpful way for you to use the forums for all us, unless your goal is to get yelled at.

    I run into these accounts in BG and was placed in Diamond 2 at the beginning of the season. Yeah I cant compete with this.

    Once you've done watching the whale you caught you can let it go by exiting in the top left of the screen.

    Be warned summoner, occasionally you catch a fellow tiny ftp fish. Feel free to fight amongst yourselves if you want. Then continue your whale watching adventures!

    I have been losing to plenty weaker accounts than mine too.
    Funny but acceptable. Ggs all of you guys who Don't whine and just do your thing.
