Battleground Matchmaking

With so many players complaining about Battleground Matchmaking issues, why haven’t Kabam fixed it? It’s beyond frustrating for the majority of time to be matched with accounts that are 2 to 3 times stronger.

Matchmaking can’t be 100% random, there is an coded algorithm.

There seems to be a pattern,
* I get matched with WAY stronger players.
* and/or when it’s my time to pick my team, the system gives me my lower options to select from.
* they match me with players that I am their one” win to advance to the next level.
* I have screenshots to prove it.

It feels like they are throttling the game for lower accounts and rewarding big whale accounts by matching us with them for a statically sure win for them and that is less fun and less rewarding for us and our time.

Matchmaking doesn’t have to be perfect, just more even.

What all you lower accounts complaining about match making don't get is the so called fair like matching you guys keep asking for was already a thing this is the most fair match making system kabam has had they didn't keep that match making because alot of lower accounts were getting into the circuit and costing paragon and valiant accounts those spots which kabam didn't want let me think of that saying they said if the lower accounts wanted to get in the circuit upgrade your account I think it was more uncollected they said you are matched against any account in your bracket it is a competitve mode but don't worry kabam has already said they are working on a lower progression battle grounds but those rewards will not be this good but I will end with this Raiderrrrs!!!!!!!!!

Okay, please help me understand something, not sure how many players on average are active in the game at any given time or how many of those players are playing in Battlegrounds. I am a Valiant player, my account is a little over 5 million. I have a decent BG squad, with a handful of rank three 7*’s.

I know there are other players like me with accounts that are 1-2 million differences in either direction with similar squads online and in BG that the algorithm could match me with, but I keep getting matched with the 9-11 million account rating with 9-12 rank four 7*’s and a super developed squad. Not 1-2 fights then one closer to my level, but 7-8 fights then maybe I will get lucky to fight someone closer to my account level.

I think that is the issue for me, I am not looking for favoritism or a handout, but there has to a middle ground where more similar rated players are online that the system could better match us up. Let the 9- 10 million rated accounts fight each other 😳 instead of getting freebie wins from lower rated accounts they know it’s a easy win. That way it makes it more challenging and rewarding for everyone. It’s just to make things a little more fair.

Again, I lost, 10 fights in a row and 8 of them needed to beat me to go to the next level, to me that’s not just a coincidence lol.

Yeah I get that I am same way I'm just under 7.5 mil rating also don't let these whale accounts scare you some of them aren't thar skilled and just spend money like it's nothing if you find yourself matching with these accounts what I normally do is wait a few days and then try again let those whales move up what bracket are you in BTW cause if you are in high vibranium may just be something you will need to push through right now I'm just playing every few days when the objective reset

You want the same rewards as the harder competition wants= Handouts

It has to be completely random or else so fairness goes out of the window. The game choosing to give you a pity match up that it wouldn't give to a higher account actively throws off the balance

Said rewards aren’t valuable enough to warrant the kind of competition fighting for them. Do you think players are going

“Oh Boy, I can’t wait to fight whales for the chance at getting the 7 star shards and BG tokens in Diamond 5 - Vibranium 1!”

If this was GC that’s fair because ranks have limited players for each bracket, but having this conversation over Victory Track is pretty stingy imo

GC doesn't have limited players per bracket. GC is the same as VT. GC tiers are divided by the points you have. There could be 20,000 URU 3 players if they are all within that tiers point range.

Higher GC tiers have less because the grind is tough and point ranges are smaller.

Equal rewards equal competition.

Ask Kabam for easy competition only if you're ready for easy rewards.

I am pretty damn sure that Crashed mentioned, in his post about their update to BGs, that GC placements are based on position relative to others.

In fact, he literally stated the max number of players that could be in a specific tier for each and every tier in the circuit. So yeah there is a limit. I don’t know if it applies when there are players with duplicate point numbers, but there definitely is one. Even in game you can see the position ranges that each tier covers. Celestial is the top 100 according to this I believe.

I look forward to when Kabam makes Battlegrounds Casual mode.

Then all the complaints will be about the worthless rewards in there since the highest tier rewards will still come from the highest competitive play.

As a F2P player you must be humble to get high uru because all the whales buy there ranks lol. U can have no skill and still end high arcane or low quantum if you buy every deal that have R4 resources they just rank all the nasty defenders and they do all the work for them.

If the situation have been hard for of your side imagine me who still uses R4 6* ,plus also having to see those people i forfeit getting ther ranks while i'm trying to get a balanced match just to get the last Shatter essence this month
