I’m struggling to see the point in this game mode being attached to MCOC. I’ve not been able to play long enough to get engrossed in it and start to enjoy it. I’m not paying for a game mode I’m simply watching my screen the whole time.
As far as I can see it is not for F2P players. You can only get tickets to play using money. You will see this now in the store about the Unit Store.
150 tickets for $0.99 475 for $2.99 815 for $4.99 1,750 for $9.99
At this point I will not be playing this mode, but glad to know this day one. Looked like a fun mode, but unfortunately it is not F2P friendly.
You will get three entries for free every day, which will be enough to earn a bunch of good rewards as long as you use your entries.
What's the point of having such an aggressive monetization on a mode that was just released with no real info and that nobody asked for? Shouldn't we try it first before already have monetization in it? This game has become so money demanding lately, I wonder how long this can last
Game mode isn't great but very willing to give it a shot. I played the first story quest and quit out afterwards, then the game reset my progress and I lost a token.
Im having some other problem after a few min the entire screen goes black and i have to reset it mid fight. And i lost 2 of my coins. What the hell should i do now
This new mode is absolute horseshit. Wasn’t excited about it in the first place, but just trying to do the objectives and TWICE now it’s screwed me after completing a mission by kicking me out, LOSING all mastery points gained and your turn is used up. Effing ****. Why are you guys even spending any time and resources on such garbage when your actual game with a loyal following is still flooded with bugs that go unfixed for years???? @KabamPinwheel
It’s alright, it’s not MCOC but I’m willing to have some side modes that are different. That said, the obfuscation around battle mechanics feels wholly unnecessary. More importantly, limited entries in a roguelike gamemode where you’re expected to hit walls and die is simply not a good combo. It messes with the flow of earning buffs to make your future runs easier when you can’t decide to go in and do those runs when you want.
And I’m not usually one to complain about monetization, my mindset is usually that you guys can do whatever and people can make their own decisions on what’s worth what, but having paid perks for what is a temporary test mode is just low. If you guys really cared about getting player feedback on what’s basically a beta test, you shouldn’t limit how much your players can test and then charge them for the privilege of testing more.
It’s not a bad game mode but WHY are there entry restrictions and monetisation. If you want our opinion on this brand new style of content, let us play the damn content
The moment I started the game. Somehow I was out of the game and mastery got reseted and I lost the energy. I only realised the mastery got reset after I lost on chapter 2. I believe, game mode is bugged as well.
