Is there a way to preset bans for tier changes?

I’m so annoyed that, recently we had our first tier 1 wars, one which we were matched with a tier 1 ally, but weren’t in tier 1 ourselves….
2 problems with this:
1. Wtf kabam? If we are playing a tier 1 war we should get the tier 1 multiplier. How does it make sense we play in a harder tier without the benefits AND the opponent has a leg up with experience AND
2. The opponent gets to choose all 5 of the bans while we had 2 selected at random without the opportunity to set it up in advance. Before some map changes a while back we were able to set our defence up for the tier above and below… why was that taken away???
Which leads to the next issue, as we won a war, then lost a war and fell back out of tier 1… instead of reverting to our original chosen 3 bans, it just auto unbanned 2 of the 5…. Seriously. Let us set things up for a tier up and tier down like you had before.
