I think u know whats going on here.....
even after completing chap 1, there are no mastery points, no objective completion and it used that dimensional token which we only have 3 per day😐

A couple things. First, when you finish a quest, you need to hit save. If you just hit the X it won't save your progress and you will need to do the quest over.
Second, if you look at the quest, you will see it now takes 0 tokens to enter, meaning while you did "lose" a token in the unsaved entry, you don't need to spend one on your next entry.
Make sure you save after each run and you will be fine.
