And that’s even worse…. Nothing should be in the box that can’t be used somewhere in the game. The 3 boxes of 5000 shards each can’t be used anywhere unless you complete to 15000.

Once again. The free key unused has more value than 1/5 of all possible rewards in the box.

If the goal was to get people to spend; how about no. Not this way. With what’s been going on for so long with bugs/etc, and now new game modes that just don’t resonate with me in regards to why I’ve enjoyed this game for 10 years, I’m really questioning why I’m still playing this game.

Problem this time is, if you "win" the 5k shards you didn't win anything at all. Unless of course you plan on buying more keys and hoping you win them again. Twice.

I get it; some people won a part of the puzzle which is equal to nothing, which means they lost. They didn't win 5k shards, they probably got the worst item out of the 15.. so they lost lol

But in fairness, and it’s not often I say this, but I agree with @GroundedWisdom.

I can guarantee if any of these people had won an AG or the full 7* crystal, there wouldn’t be this much complaining 🤷‍♂️

Unless Kabam is giving at least 2 more free keys, this is a massive L.
Dang poker game mode got people hooked and addicted... 2 more keys might still get you trash, and then you are going to say it should have been 5 free keys total.

In fact, the in game mail states the key itself has more value unspent!!!! Unused keys convert to 1500 normal 7 star shards… that I can actually use!

Had I known I could trade the key in for actual value instead of RNG garbage, I'd have gone that route.

The shards were a terrible idea, that's all there is to say. Everything else has a chance at value for the player. Leaving in a 10.67% chance to pull a worthless item, why?!?! Couldn't get out of July with out a L streak, ah well.

Again, as I stated before, if Kabam had labeled the 3 boxes as sorry you got nothing, they would have at least been honest.

It’s not about lucky that I’m upset at, even when I spend 300 units for a valiant at least I get something back for it. I’m ok with rewards from the boxes holding various degrees of value, but to have 3 boxes with zero value is the issue. If the useless shards had a trade value of 1 gold then they’d have more value than in their current state.

It's not a gift if it's basically a psychologically manipulative advertisement embedded into your stash to remind you everyday that you'll never be able to use those "free" shards unless you pay for the remaining necessary shards.
Each possible item in this gift should've been something theoretically usable without having to pay money.
If you can't see how that's a dirty tactic then you're either a bad faith troll or a good faith moron.
