Fallen off in this game?
I almost never see my opponent use her or get a win. She was sold as bullseye counter and made some noise last year but I think she's fallen hard. Is she still good or viable? Especially in BG?

She was never the fastest of the bunch, but still one of the safest counter and widely used in war and not just for bullseye. The past few BG metas don't help her either.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Spider-punk have almost same ability to stun opponents who try to intercept.. but once you parry combo them.. its a little more a nuisance than difficult to take down as a defender.. hence they are seldom seen.. in certain battleground meta they can be useful.. but in other meta.. they are not viable.. Gentle is a better Bullseye counter than NTW.

Kabam seem to make rated 5 defenders and then make a hard counter for them..

example: Onslaught can be countered by Jack O Lantern, but the better safer counter is Bastion.. now there are other newer champions that negate his attacks.

NTW can still take most skill champion so if you like her playstyle and are aware she doesn't have any immunity.. its your account so rank up who you like.. unless you like to procrastinate and wait till new champs are released.

I still ban neganoodles whenever I see one. My max sig attuma doesn't like her (and also jean, duped dazzler, onslaught, shuri, gentle, and a few others).

Apart from dazzler i don't have any bullseye counters in my deck and dazzler can only do bullseye NON POWERGAIN metas (which happens to be EXTREMELY RARE). In my opinion NTW is the more consistent bullseye counter because she can do his almost every meta. But that's besides the point.

NTW I feel is a good champ to have for occasional uses in war, showcases and overall quests. Im still hunting one and will instantly get ranked when I do get her. Im kicking out my 6star mid Grey out the deck if I pull 7 star NTW lol.

Just pulled her 7* but I already have r1 havok that I feel like is better in BG for me as an attacker not just defender. Also have r1 SINISTER who is most definitely going r3 ASAP. Just literally used basic AWAKENING gem and pumped 130 sigs into him

Negasonic’s value lies in being a unique utility champ. All passive debuffs, passive stun and non-contact everything will always have value, but it’s mostly going to be specific lanes/fights in AW attack and then stuff like EoP, WoF, whatever. She can very occasionally be a trap in BGs, but that’s not really her natural game mode.

If you have a big roster already, she’s the kind of champ you take to r2 and then let her sit on the bench until you really need her. If you have a developing roster, your resources are probably better spent elsewhere.

You say 'apart from Dazzler'...presumably you use Ironheart herself for Bullseye, though?

Admittedly, I'm not a top BGs player or anything, but I've always found that she's an amazingly safe and effective option for Bullseye.

I’m still on the fence on ranking her. I need a korg/attuma counter in my deck, if I could dupe my r3 dazzler or cyclops I would be fine, I have sinister r3 and sinister so he full counters bullseye.

Also okoye is my go to bullseye counters these days, way better than most muties.

Ohh yh okoye. Forgot about her. Yh she's in my deck.
My sinister is r1. Honestly haven't even considered ranking him up not really a fan. Im about to complete the raid boss and unlock that selector and I still don't know if i should dupe him or get cap marvel ( I feel like she might get buffed eventually).

I know this is off topic but I'd also like to give a shout out to phoenix, shathra and scream. They have been my mvps throughout the armor up regen meta. Like shathra has been mowing down serpents and other matches here and there. Phoenix has been decimating those zolas both shathra and phoenix are r2 and are punching up pretty well. Phoenix is doing zola at a consistent 60 sec with a full yellow bar. She's a nice sub until I get karolina she's also great for dust and Sentinel. I was impressed.

And scream (r3) has impressed me the most. She's been killing, fams, red skull, arcades, onslaughts etc. I've been picking her very often, she's been popping up in the same batch as medusa and I mostly pick her over medusa now. Maybe its just this meta since you prefer huge bursts of damage over slow and steady damage cos of regen but shes been NUKING AND NUKING fights. I've been so happy with her results.

Im also happy i learned shathra now because I can finally kick that one trick pony spiral outta my deck. I have shathra, chavez and kushala for serpent and they're useful for so much more.

Invested lots of sigs. And whenever opponent doesn't draft counter he's a guaranteed W. He is my mvp defender since he rarely gets banned and delivers everytime

Yh i respected attuma when i fought him with a shocker. I nuked him down in about 40 secs but lost nearly 50% and im not even joking. Without a counter that damage back is no joke

How is Bastion a better counter? He straight up isn’t.

Jack was made to counter Onslaught, and if his crush trips you up that’s just a skill issue not an issue with Jack

Bastian is still a better counter. Not to say he is faster then jack to kill Onslaught let's say but every other champ in general at this point iv taken down many bullseye with him rather any other mutents. Bastian is > jack And iv got both at r3

They're a very good counter for most skill opponents solely because of the passive effects, I keep them in my BG deck and they've come in handy many times

She's still THE skill class annihilator, handles every single skill defender easily other than Nick and Yelena the problem is the last few BGs metas hurt her really bad.

Well she needed a little damage numbers bump, Kabam refused so many have dropped her from deck, there's Dazzler now who not only beat Bullseye but do it with style and speed.

I think the top mutants are tied for "hardest skill counter" if you look at them they mostly take the main threats excluding one or 2
Dazzler - can't do nick and yelena
Jean - can't do nick and bullseye
NTW - can't do nick and yelena
Onslaught- can't do nick (not greatest against yelena but can do it)

I think on paper Cassandra might be taking that title tho cos she seems to be able to take the most meta skill matches which are yelena and nick. She doesn't seem to do bullseye tho but that's enough range to give her value.

Wait, so your idea of "can't do nick" is purely based on not being able to stop his second life, correct?
Because if that's the metric you're using, there's only a couple champs who can even do him, and yet I regularly see him get wrecked in bg's, even with said second life.

She's safe but very slow.

My dude, start using Ironheart for him.

Six debuffs, and he can't inflict any of his bleeds through block.

And if she's Awakened, her Sig reduces block chip damage to almost nothing

Awakened Ironheart can block-tank his SP1 almost endlessly.

There's still the Killer Instinct stall; but since she can safely Parry him, and he can't Evade Specials, just bait & block the SP1, parry him, and spam SP1 to keep the debuffs up.

Mine is r4 and I use her for r4 Bullseyes in Battlegrounds all the time. With max Despair and Inequity, and a Sentinel relic inflicting Weakness when the opponent is Incinerated, she's just astonishing.
