Will it be 7* locked champs or can you also use 6* ?? I don’t know if they mentioned it on te last stream

No restrictions on 7* version of champions. You can play whoever you want, even 2* haha... I remember I defeated the Red Goblin for 2* Ronan in Crucible in Act 7 out of boredom

I don't think anybody but Kabam knows at this point. We'll have to wait and see until it goes live or a mod says something

It is known. There are no restrictions. Even in the description of Crucible they say use your best champions (especially your 7* champions). When there are any restrictions, it is stated immediately, it is strange that you cannot understand it. But if you do not believe in versions below 6*, then 6* and 7* are obviously available

You just made that up completely lol nowhere does it say anything about "especially your 7*", it says it's one of the toughest challenges and to be prepared to bring in your strongest champs. Allowing us to use 6* wouldn't make this content challenging in the slightest and it's supposed to be "one of the toughest challenges". Act 8 wasn't even tough back when 6* were still relevant what makes you think it'll be "onw of the toughest challenges" if they don't 7* lock it? Literally Kingpin solos Bahamet with zero issues and so does Kitty with Scytalis, the same goes for the rest of the defenders there is no challenge if they let us use 6* the whole thing is going to be a walk in the park.

Well they didn't include that in the forums announcement so fair enough. I still don't see the whole thing letting you use 6* without punishing you in some way, it's supposed to be a tough challenge how is that tough at all?

Well, to be honest, I think they imagined Crucible–Act 7 to be just as "challenge". It's just that this challenge doesn't always turn out to be so in reality.

He wants to know whether 6 stars can be used or not. You then delved into "no restrictions on 7 stars" and 2 star nonsense. You did not answer his question.

It's funny that I'm more dissagred, but at the same time the only one who answered the OP's question, when others can say "yes, it's definitely only available in the 7* version). Your answer isn't right though. The real answer is "we don't know." You gave him a sure answer when there's not enough evidence to be sure. And if it turns out it is 7* locked, then it'd just be you spreading misinformation.

Okay. I'll try to explain it more simply. The Act 8 Crucible has the exact same challenge format as the previous one (except there's now 1 path on Legendary difficulty). There was no announcement about the restriction and the website states that "you can use your best champions for this quest, especially 7*" - which seems to indicate that the veia will be available version below 7*... But we'll, let's ask for an official answer to finish this thread
