Summoner fest on new account

So I just started up a new account just to see how far I can progress in a short amount of time and was planning on using the 10k summoner fest points from compensation to my advantage and claimed them as soon as I was able, but when I claimed them I didn’t get any rewards and thought I would just get the rewards when the event popped up for me but when I made it to that point I checked the objective and it said I had 0 points is there any way I can receive those 10k points because I did claim them it’s just the event had not popped up on the account yet.
