Unable to complete FUTURE FOUNDATION: INVISIBLE WOMAN 3

My alliance only has 2 active members and out of our last 4 wars we have only had one war where defenders we actually placed. So we are both stuck at 3 defenders defeated a piece and unable to complete the objective in time. Is there some kind of work around since we keep getting empty alliance wars? I don't want to miss out on the rewards.
