Changing the mechanics of the champion "Moon Dragon"
Hello everyone, I would like to propose some changes to the Moon Dragon character's mechanics to make it more playable and versatile.
What do I think are the problems with the character's mechanics:
1) In the Battlegrounds, the Moon Dragon has a slightly slow and difficult time maximizing its damage output. Until it activates its Psionic Transcendence mode, it can be challenging to intercept opponents.
2) Also, while the "Psionic Transcendence" mode is enabled, the "Energy Vulnerability" debuffs are activated on the enemy, which are the main source of damage. The problem with these debuffs is that the enemy can clear or reset them. This greatly reduces the damage from the Moon Dragon's second special attack, as well as the overall damage dealt to the enemy.
3)Next, I believe that the Moon Dragon has an not impressive resistance mechanic to damage-dealing debuffs, specifically reducing the effectiveness of bleeding, poisoning, degeneration, and powerful bite debuffs by 50%.
4)In the end, I wouldn't call it a problem, but the Moon Dragon doesn't have any defensive capabilities.
So, now I will move on to presenting my suggestions for changing and improving the mechanics of the Moon Dragon game.
CHANGES IN THE CHAMPION'S ABILITIES:
1)In my opinion, the main change that needs to be introduced is the ability to activate the powerful "Taunt" debuff. The debuff activation can be done similarly to the activation mechanics of the "Hercules" champion. This would allow the Moon Dragon to intercept opponents more efficiently and quickly.
2)Also, based on my experience playing as the Moon Dragon, the second special attack often fails to deal critical damage when activated, resulting in significantly reduced damage dealt to the enemy. To address this issue, it is possible to modify the Moon Dragon's "Psionic Transcendence" mode - during its activation, the Moon Dragon gets a buff "Accuracy", which increases the chance of dealing critical damage.
3)I would also change the mechanics of obtaining "Psionic Charges":
During the enemy's interception, the Moon Dragon will receive two "Psionic Charges" instead of one for each combo strike. This will allow you to activate the maximum number of "Psionic Charges" much faster, and therefore achieve maximum damage much faster.
4)Next, I propose to change the mechanics of the Moon Dragon's "immunities":
Increase resistance to damaging debuffs to 80% or better, to 90%, while the "Psionic Transcendence" mode is enabled,
BUT remove the reduction of damage from degenerations, leaving only the reduction of damage from bleeding, poisoning, and powerful bites. I think, this change will "balance" the Moon Dragon and increase its versatility.
5)At the end, to improve the Moon Dragon's defensive potential, I would slightly modify the mechanics of controlling evasions during the "Psionic Transcendence" mode, similar to the mechanics of the Serpent Champion. This means that the Moon Dragon's special attacks not only control evasions but also the "Agility" ability. I believe this change will make the Moon Dragon a more formidable defensive opponent.
CHANGES IN THE CHAMPION'S SIGNATURE ABILITY:
In my opinion, it would be appropriate to introduce a change in the Moon Dragon's signature ability to the above-mentioned changes in the character's abilities:
When the Moon Dragon's signature ability is active, its personal debuffs "Energy Vulnerability", debuff " Taunt" and buff "Accuracy" while "Psionic Transcendence" is enabled, become PASSIVE.
I think this change will make the Moon Dragon a more versatile and powerful champion in terms of attack, and she also have defense potential.
