Battlegrounds GC grind for 0 points

I don't know if this will change for next season, but it's been pretty damn hard to progress at all in the GC with accounts flexing double digit numbers of 7* R4's. My current win rate is pretty much 50% in GC where some matchups are fair with my account of 4 R4's and a dozen R3's, but then right after I'll face multiple accounts of 12 R4's and then the remaining R3's (and lots of them being big spending accounts with Dark Phoenix and Human Torch at R4).
With a 50% win rate I've grinded GC steady for 7 days (lots of energy and tokens) and for my efforts I sit at 0 points

I don't know if this is just a sign to stop trying in Gladiator Circuit at all, or just give up this season until all the Battlerealm Brawl hoopla is over

I just do the 3 wins every 2 days and don’t worry about position. I did get all 3 radiance objectives for 2 seasons but not even tried last season and this with the nodes. Just do the objectives and see where you land until the meta is more amenable to playing for us lesser mortals.

I know this won’t be changed, but personally I would love it if the 100 and 200 point objectives would be just our + points added together. Getting to 200 points just isn’t feasible for most people.

You're not gonna like to hear this but those radiance objectives aren't meant for most people. They are there to encourage those that can achieve them to achieve them and move out of the VC and lower GC ranks as quick as possible

Well the thought process behind those objectives was nice when it started. But now I'm sure most of the people (for whom these objectives were meant) don't even care about these objectives since they're probably getting more radiance from one week of AQ than these three objectives combined. So eventually, they are back to farming easy wins at lower levels, or rather say they are back to slow playing till the end of the season (which is totally valid).

Basically beating up on lower/mid Valiant accounts to farm points
