Marvel Contest of Champions Content Creator Program, designed to empower our amazing community of creators and bring even more value to you, our players! As part of this refresh, we’re introducing
Creator Codes , a new way for content creators to earn revenue share from in-game purchases made by their supporters, while giving you a chance to directly support your favorite creators! Keep an eye out for their videos announcing what their codes are!
What’s New in the Content Creator Program?Introducing Creator Codes ( BETA ):We hand selected a handful of creators (16 total ) to run the test of the Creator Code program. These talented content creators will now have unique codes that players can use in the Summoner’s Market when making purchases. By entering a creator’s code, you’ll help them earn a share of the revenue from your purchase—at no extra cost to you! It’s a win-win way to show love for the creators who bring you MCOC content, like champion guides, skill showcases, epic crystal openings, downright hype live streams and tournaments.
How were these initial creators chosen? For this test, we loosely based our decision on subscriber count, viewership metrics, and engagement. Additionally we wanted different types and styles of content creation on differing platforms to see what’s possible and whether this can be a mutually beneficial addition to the Content Creator Program moving forward. If so, we’ll solidify our requirements and expand the program to all that are eligible!
Enhanced Support for Creators: We’re upgraded ( and are actively upgrading) the tools, resources, and early access opportunities available to program members to help them deliver top-tier content that educates, entertains, and inspires the MCOC community.
Community Focus: We’re looking for creators who are passionate about MCOC and dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive community. Whether you’re a YouTuber, streamer, guide writer, or other content creator, we want to celebrate your contributions! Keep an eye out for our community wide announcement!
How Can You Support Creators?Using a Creator Code is simple:
- Head to the Summoner’s Market store.playcontestofchampions.com
- Log in with your Kabam account (K.I.D).
- Enter your favorite creator’s unique code in the Promo Codes section during checkout.
- Complete your purchase, and a portion of the revenue will go directly to the creator you’re supporting!
