Who should I awaken to help me become Paragon

Title pretty much sums it up. I am currently a Thronebreaker looking to become Paragon (currently at Act 7 Chapter 3 Kang). My main motive is story quests and not really anything else. Sometimes play battlegrounds but not often. Also I am not that skilled and still have a parry and hit style of play rather than using intercepts. Which awakened champion will genuinely help me becoming a Paragon faster? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

rank up and awaken Kingpin. He’ll still help you in act 8.

Hercules is another great option. In general, rank up the best 6 stars that aren’t available as 7 stars.

Thanks finally decided to go with Hercules. His immortality would be very helpful for me.
