Be able to play multiple event at a time

I find it pretty annoying that you can only play 1 quests at a time. I want to lock in my champs in one quest and still play another with other champs.
I am progressing quite well in story quest but as I need potions to continue I am now not able to play the game at all cause I cannot enter another quest. I do not just want to Play Battlegrounds and Arenas
