Hope

Here's a game that made me lose hope. Few people do that. Well, it's a lot of work. After years of playing, I only go in, do three things, and then leave. It's practically a word search puzzle, or a game of checkers. It's with the same excitement that I play now. I don't know for how long.

Feel exactly the same. I just want to do EQ and side quest right now but it feels more like story.

I like doing story and apart from 9.3, I'm up to date but I do story when I have the time to sit down, maybe watch a YouTube, check out the nodes and finish the path. When I don't have the time for that, I do EQ and SQ. 1 week into the update and I have nothing to do but login and dailies. I want to try out my new champs etc!

Some of it is definitely a skill issue. I can do the new EQ and SQ (probably not elder) but I find it hard/time consuming so I'm not having fun, my skill plateaued years ago and is not likely to improve but the monthly EQ and things like crucible and story were enough for me.

I get that the the EQ update is Monday but looking at this side quest, I think maybe I'm at the level where I can't progress anymore. I know they're looking at a way to let you select your level but I don't want lower level rewards, I was happy with valient rewards last month. I don't want my best rewards to come from autorunning a daily.

tl:dr: this month's update has knocked my confidence and made me feel sad that I don't have my game anymore
