Suggestion to Kabam on the easy step to deal with the current crisis
I am speaking from my personal experience but it can be probably relatable to others players as well. If you think about it, the current situation when people simply cant play the game is not that much related to the shrinkage of available energy refills as to the new system of Daily Quests. From my understanding the first thing most players now do when logging into a game on any day is running the Supply Run since it gives the most valuable resources (units, revives, sigs, tickets to access even more valuable stuff on Sunday etc.) with little effort. Supply run consumes 60 energy leaving an average player with just 10 or slightly more left. You cant do anything with that 10 energy in the game afterwards => done, your fun with the game is ruined. Yes you can login a few hours later but usually your first launch of MCoC daily is the one you expect to get the most, do most of the stuff and may be comeback later just to finish the leftovers. Also as I already wrote in another post a lot of "grown ups" simply dont have the opportunity to play the game more than once daily due to more important stuff in their lives so Supply run is all they can do now or miss on a large chunk of daily resources.
You can say that the Apothecary used to be as much important previously. But its not. First it just gave you only potions/revives, second it cost much less energy - 48 and the third you had tons of energy refills to use one afterwards and proceed to something else. Not even close to today.
So what can be done to at least partly salvage the situation and return at least a bit of fun in the game it used to have, if you insist that Energy Refills are suddenly such precious resource now, despite what was happening in the game for 10 years prior and everybody was perfectly happy with that (btw, dont notice the corelation "Everybody happy = game exists for 10+ years"? No? Ok, just asking).
Just lower the energy consumption for Supply Run from 3 to 2 thus lowering the total energy consumption from 60 to 40. That will leave a player with 30 something energy afterwards. He ll get another 10-15 while doing some other stuff (Arena, AQ/AW) as regen and 20 as help from Alliance (it will give more incentive to be in a more or less active one). So in an hour or so he will have 60+ energy that will be enough to finish a path in Story/EQ, do some exploration, finish most of other Dailies or just have a decent number of fights in BG.
With that and with 2 additional Energy Refills you kindly allowed us to have weekly as backup it will make playing the game at least manageable.
