Question about the Classic Difficulty mode in new Event Quest

If I complete (not 100% explore) Classic Difficulty mode and then unlock Elder Difficulty mode and then 100% Elder Difficulty mode, will the unexplored paths in Classic Difficulty will also be auto-completed and will I get ALL the rewards in Classic + Elder Difficulty modes?

Sorry but the new event quest is so confusing!

That is my understanding of the system yes, exploration of Elder gives all the remaining rewards from Classic.

I should add, this doesn't come from "completing" the missing paths, but if you look at the rewards milestones it comes from the Etherion or whatever it is that you get that finishes off all the milestones when you fully explore Elder.

Yes, you get all the rewards… it stated “if you complete elder you get all the etherion of the classic”

To clear up some other potential confusion, the rewards shown in elder difficulty are the total rewards you will get. It is not classic plus elder, but only classic if you explore that, or only elder if you explore elder. You will not get more rewards for going back and manually exploring classic than what you will get with just a completion of classic and then clearing elder.
