Who do you think is gonna be the 9.4 boss?

In my opinion, its gonna be Corrupted Carina, for a few reasons:

1. I don't remember the exact quest and words said, but in one of the dialogues, it was said that Carina is gonna need protection and help, so I guess that The Chronoserpant is after her.
2. It seems we are moving away from "Corrupted henchmen" into bosses of more significance, just like how Doom isnt the usual case of a hero being brainwashed and Corrupted.
3. Its the final chapter, so the boss have to be someone important, so Carina is my guess, although id really like Corrupted Collector! Like, imagine if The Chronoserpant catches Carina, and The Collector will want to save her, but he will get Corrupted.

i think it be carina just because shes been out since 9.1 so most likely 9.4 it will start of her getting corrupted however they do keep mentioning chronoserpent so either him or carina is my guess

HHonestly, i think you might be right. 9.4 has to bring a new progression title with it, so it'll have to be someone big. Seeing that the Chronoserpent was observing us during the Doom fight, I reckon its more likely for them to corrupt Ægon or Carina than it is to fight them outright just yet. I wouldn't mind it being someone else we havent seen in a while story wise though. Hell, what's the Champion been doing lately? Finding power in the Chronoserpent would make complete sense after we stole the power stone from him. A big corrupted champion would feel like a monumental threat to fight, considering the struggles alot of players had with him in 6.2.

I think given the story, he is. He was missing for so long from the Battlerealm and his fate was mysterious, so his appearance certainly was something special. But even so... we shouldn't ignore most other acts... Kang, Thanos, Maestro, The Grandmaster and Superior Kang- all were the bosses of chapter 4 in their respective acts.

No way its The Chronoserpant, if it is - ill be so pissed. He haven't even appeared in Dialogues yet, and I think there's more to be found out about him and his methods before its all done, this story cant be concluded yet. Besides, for someone who was said to be Mcoc's story endgame (he won't be that anymore as they will surely go past him) I think its really fitting that he will be the final boss of the 10th act. 10.4 Boss.

I really wanna see Corrupted Collector. Honestly, a long time ago I had a theory that The masters of evil have teamed up with The Chronoserpant, cuz of that artifical ISO-8 Sphere plot line. Corrupted Zemo would be sick. Anyway, both Corrupted Carina and Corrupted Aegon are highly likely for 9.4. If it'll be someone else-ill actually be surprised.

for sure but they do keep mentioning him though even doom said he fused the serpent so possible but i do think more carina but have to wait and see

IF we fight the actual Chronoserpent, it won't be until the end of act 10 as that's the end of book 2.

I mean... why won't we? At a time, even fighting The Collector seemed unreal, he seemed to be something beyond, and truly the ultimate ruler of the contest. But no one in the contest is "unfightable", sooner or later they all are fightable

tbh we could fight multiple times if they wanted to make him a threat be kinda cool to see like an evolution stage sorta like the 2 different thanoses we had with the stones

I doubt we will fight the actual Chronoserpent. From how they are presented they are an entity that spans the entire Battlerealm. Bet it will be something like bonding with Doom and then us kicking their ass weakened them significantly (which ofc Doom pretends was his plan all along), so they slink away and take over Carina instead, who was already incapacitated. So 9.4 will have us fight a corrupted Carina, and end the Chronoserpent arc with a new title and the end of Book 2 as well.

Ok hear me out- that, but The Chronoserpant will actually bond to Aegon, yet Aegon will resist his control, and will insist that the only way to defeat him is if Aegon is killed while The Chronoserpant is inside him, and Carina will start tearing up and say there most be another way, but Aegon won't change his mind. And so, Carina and Aegon will share a kiss, right before Carina herself will have to end Aegon. Could be pretty tragic

I only say that because up to this point we haven't actually seen what he really looks like. Only that hes a wispy sort of primordial force. Kinda like eternity or other such cosmic entities. He may not have a physical body. Then again, hes a creation of mcoc and has never actually been in comics before.

I totally get that-if you ask me, the whole Chronoserpant plor feels dragged... and like, i don't mean dragged as in if want them to end this plot, the opposite actually! But I feel like things are moving so slow, and the plot could for sure be elevated. And i guess the fact we are almost 2 acts in and u say we havent ever seen how The Chronoserpant looks like, should speak on itself.
