I think we can all agree node 42 spider woman ability accuracy reduction isn’t what makes that fight a pain point. I had 1 debuff on me she evades 16 times in a row how is that fair. Still can’t dex sp1 cuz of fumble again how is that fair and basically fully unblockable after 20 seconds that’s fun and healthy for the game. GASLIGHT US MORE PLEASE

I'm not in an alliance that pushes AW especially hard so I don't know exactly what the nodes are that make the fight so hard, but I'll say this: there are presumably counters for that Spider-Woman. There are champions that can deal with Evade, and there are champions that can avoid attacks without having to use the Dexterity mastery, and there are champs that can deal with Unblockable.

Why Ensnare is a problem in all of that is that it can make all of those counters that you bring in for those other nodes or abilities fail. You bring in someone with Ensnare, Slow or let's say a True Accuracy buff in order to shut off her evading all of your attacks? Have fun when those don't trigger 30% of the time. You bring in someone who can phase through her special attacks? Again, that is not a reliable strategy because 30% of the time, it just won't work. Unless the counter that you bring in is immune to ability accuracy reduction, chances are that you're really going to struggle against her even with a champion that does have the utility to stop her.

That's the problem. It makes every possible counter to her and whatever nodes she's on extremely unreliable unless the champion you're using is immune to ability accuracy reduction. Sometimes that specific piece of utility is asked for, such as in a fight against Domino, but usually not in champions that are already stacked with defensive utility that you need to actively counter. If you are immune to ability accuracy reduction when fighting Domino, then it's a pretty easy fight. Sure, it would be easier if you could parry non-contact attacks and if you would have some way to shut off her evade, but by and large you would have dealt with her primary defensive threat by shutting down that ability accuracy reduction and the resulting damage whenever something fails due to it.

However, Spider-Woman has those other defensive abilities that you are meant to find counters for. But if you can't fight her even with those counters because she randomly shuts them down, that's a huge problem. Presumably it would also make it very hard to design future champions that could reliably counter her since you'd always have to add two abilities - one to counter her intended defensive threat, and one to make sure that it doesn't get shut down by the random Ensnare.

I won't argue with you if you think she should be nerfed further. My point is just that, yes, Ensnare is a vital part of what makes fighting her so difficult.
