"Classic EQ" & Elder
I'm so sick of the it being called "classic" because in no way is it anything like it used to be, its not even remotely close. Now the "classic" version of EQ is tied to prestige instead of just AQ so people who want a casual experience have to be careful who they rank up, which that will only be people who actually understand these horrible changes to the game.
The whole "adaptive" thing ruins a good portion of the game for the climb to the highest title. this is weird to me because I thought they wanted it to be easier to reach the high titles so people would not quit playing. Also with the top 30 for prestige if you want a more casual experience in EQ you have to not rank certain champs, even if its a top champ since increasing you prestige to much will kill that experience. On top of the back loaded rewards so if you don't 100% classic you are also going to fall behind.I don't know the whole thing just seems like a huge L and they won't go back.
Elder difficulty is a whole other deal. The same thing I said about "classic" applies here. A valiant player can't keep up just doing "classic" because the rewards are so back loaded which the supposedly fixed when the "tuned" everything down. I think the most aggravating thing to me is I is the rewards for the amount of time and work you now have to do compared to the real classic EQ.
I 100% expect them to make it so valiant can skip "classic" but they won't get the rewards. I bet they split the rewards so you still have to do classic 100% in order to get full rewards. If they do anything else I will be amazed, not that they will correct their mistake anytime soon though. What an apology, we crapped the bed so we will fix it in 6 months or so. If I wanted a challenge I would go play Everest content over that I already did, not the monthly content that used to be enjoyable and not that stressful.
Im a spender on this game and I know there is no real return on that investment outside of the game. I did enjoy the game a lot even though some of my spending habits have got away from me at times, but now I wish I never spent a dime on this game. I'm done spending money on this game now though and almost get no enjoyment now because the way the seems to be heading now. Its crazy awesome mobile game has lasted this long, but it seems like kabam now wants to kill the game.
