Regarding Act 4 completion

I remember the good old days that helped me clear 100% act thanks to parry which countered most of the damage including SP + Will Power helped majorly...BUT ! my friend nowadays stuggling to even clear half map with his Rank 4s without losing all champs only because of defensive damage and debuffs.
How its being done?honestly?
He got amazing champs yet he bately gets to the boss.

    Well there's one thing that he could be missing. Called skill. I can definitively say that Act 4 can be beaten with 3 stars if you play well enough, he just doesn't have the skill level to do it yet.

    Act 4 is significantly easier after the big change, right now it is easily done with 3* champions
