Who deserves a Tech 7* AW gem more, Yondu or Guardian?

Just pulled a lucky tech 7 star aw gem and also spent 15k units for SS and Yondu but was wondering between Yondu and Guardian who is the ultimate tank and deserves it more (287 sig stones ready in inventory so max sig is a guarantee or atleast 140). Has anyone compared both? Guardian seems incredibly bursty but he has the same problem as Nimrod in that if the defender is shock immune he becomes quite mid or even useless since all his damage comes from the shocks and seeing as Onslaught, Mister Sinister to an extent, Dust, Bischop and I think Cap Brit punish you for applying shocks while Yondu's Rupture are incredibly handy. But again...
if you were to R4 Sig 140-200 one of these 2 which would it be?

I don’t know much about yondu but I can vouch for gaurdian I have a r4 sig 200 he’s not only an amazing attacker but a really really tanky defender has a great autoblock and his burst damage is just insane one sp1 and one sp2 and 9/10 times their dead but like I said I can’t really say anything for yondu

Yondu at high sig is a utility beast in war and BG. I’m not outright suggesting him, but I do suggest that you do some more research on him before deciding.

Yondu’s awakened ability at high sig allows him to take Thanos and Serpent with full health, not much else to say lol

Yondu is a tanky beast at high sig. You can even play him similar to how we used to play Valk if you need to avoid a node.

what’s the minimum sig level you’d recommend for Yondu? I know sig 200 would be best but what’s the minimum number to get to a noticeable benefit for him? Suddenly have too many champs needing high sig and I’m trying to maximize my resources.

It's honestly a noticeable benefit from initial awakening. Mine is at sig 20 right now, but with 4 weaknesses I can pretty much fully block a special and take hardly any damage. Think of his sig like Archangel's kind of. Any sig is going to make a big and noticeable difference in every fight, but the higher the sig goes the easier it is to access that noticeable difference. It isn't hard for Yondu to get those debuffs up to make their specials limp.

Yondu’s Weakness debuffs have a damage cap. I think people found sig 80 to be able perfect for him. Super Skrull objectively needs a much higher sig, based on how that ability helps him offensively and makes him a menace defensively.

Like others have said he can do well at 20-80 against most defenders but for matchups like Bullseye Photon and Serpent where there is a ton of block damage you definitely want 160 or above if you want to actually use him as a counter in BGs. Reason being at high sig it requires less debuffs to keep that damage reduction completely topped off during the specials. Let me explain, let's say your Yondu is sig 60 and you got three ruptures on Serpent and he throws a sp1, he only has three 27% weaknesses on him in which case you will take some damage because the damage reduction isn't fully topped off; now same scenario but your Yondu is sig 160, three ruptures he throws sp1 but you're still at 100% every single time because your damage reduction is fully topped off since each weakness has 36% potency. To put it in simpler words, high sig just makes him more reliable against passive AI, at sig 60 you need four weaknesses to keep the damage reduction fully topped off at 160 you only need three, it doesn't sound like a huge difference but against defenders like Serpent and Bullseye where you don't always have control over how many ruptures you have on them before they throw a special it matters a lot.

So, if you want him to have the massive reach mine has I would advise 160.

Also, not sure if inequity synergizes well with all the weaknesses but I run maxed inequity.
