Does kabam even research the characters out before they add them? Sentry should be immune to bleed, poison, and just about everything else. He is one of if not the most powerful hero in the marvel universe. Dropped the ball on this one kabam.

Maybe the most powerfull beeing in Marvel Comics and Earth-616 but in this Universe, the MCOC Battlerealm, he is just like he is. Just like Spider-Gwen having a higher base attack then Hulk
Even when you get all 5 Reality Warp, it will still only 30% chance to trigger the secondary buff when entering 2nd, 3rd and 4th state of mind.
To make a comparison, if you have been using Ghost Rider frequently, you will know that Fury buff has the least chance to trigger among the 6 judgements available which is at 65%. Second of that is judgement from SP1 which is at 70%. Even then, I've had many fights where no judgement was triggered from SP1 even after 5 tries. Imagine how many times you will fail to trigger the buffs when using Sentry that only has 30% chance? Of course more than that.
Now you can will see why Sentry is trash champion.
Kabam keeps wanting to play around with chance for new champs when they do better. They can easily increase the chance exponentially depending on the number of Reality Warp that you have but no, they choose to make it stay at 30%.
That's stupid
Just want to make sure the reason you edited his sig description to show X’s yesterday was just to have placeholders until you add the level 1-level 99 figures? Just seems to be taking awhile for info I think would be readily available.
I'll wait until I get his 3 star to test him, but this champ looks like another "meh" entry when he should be god tier. Look at the dialog in the quest, and you expect him to be amazing. The reality is he's an RNG nightmare which will act differently every time you use him, and that's NOT a good thing.
I hope Void is at least good. This is a big let down for the first champ of 2018.
What upsets me much more than anything is that they couldn't even be decent enough to make it 33% for 1 in 3 odds but it is teetering with 1 in 4 and that even makes the world of difference. 30% why even bother. He's built for long fights but a miserable 10% heal on his L3 which hinders his potential damage hugely, won't even cover the block damages in such long fights.
Just wait until everyone realizes that as of right now, that miserable regen only activates once per fight, it seems.
Passive: State of Mind
- Sentry starts the fight in Unyielding Fortitude and changes to the next State for every 10 Hits in a Combo. When Sentry loses his Combo, he reverts to Unyielding Fortitude.
- Unyielding Fortitude: 100% chance on entering this State, Sentry cannot lose his Combo. Remains until Sentry changes States.
- Overpowering Light: 30% chance on entering this State, Sentry's Special 1 Attack Damage is increased by 842.8 per Reality Warp and is Unblockable. Remains until Sentry changes States.
- Steadfast Approach: 30% chance on entering this State, Sentry's Heavy Attack Damage is increased by 842.8 per Reality Warp. In addition, he gains 100% chance to Perfect Block. Remains until Sentry changes States.
- Absolute Strength: 30% chance on entering this State, Sentry's Special 2 Attack Damage is increased by 842.8 per Reality Warp and is Unblockable. Remains until Sentry changes States.
- After Absolute Strength, Sentry restarts State of Mind, entering Unyielding Fortitude.
There seems to be a lot of confusion, and I'm going to see if we can get the Spotlight updated so this is clearer.
Every 10 hits in a combo, Sentry will change Modes, and then has a 30% chance to activate the bonus from that Mode. After 10 more hits, he will change Modes again, and have a 30% chance of activating the new Bonus, but will lose the bonus from the previous mode whether or not he has gained the new bonus.
@Kabam Miike
Miike, your statement contradicts the updated spotlight. Spotlight says a 30% chance to enter the state. I would expect, if I dont enter the state, I stay in the current state with that active buff. Especially since it specifically says "Remains until Sentry changes states" Which isnt that bad. You play in that game mode till it switches. Awesome, sign me up for this champ. Sometimes I use nothing but heavies, sometimes just S1, I can strategize around that.
But your updated statement effectively says you have 100% chance to switch modes, but only 30% to get the buff. Which means a 70% chance to lose a buff and have no positive attributes....which means I want nothing to do with this champ.
Which is it?
Can we also get clarity on the number of indestructibles and regens per fight, and how indestructible works? Do you eat the damage of punch 1, but not rest of punches after? At 0.3 seconds, the opponenet combo will just keep going. Unstoppable would let you throw your hands up to block at least. Granted, and i realize its 1.5 seconds with 5 warps.

That’s exactly what it is. That part is clear, as much as none of us want to believe it, that’s the case. You will always change states with every 10 hits, you will only have a 30% chance of getting the bonuses of that state once you’re in it.
Your other point about indestructible is still a big ? for me though, considering Mike said it doesn’t prevent Sentry from taking SP3 damage. That makes no sense to me.

Need a lot more clarity on this champ.
Looks like you lose it and switch to unyielding fortitude.
Previous 2 posters after me. What you say fully aligns with Miikes comment on page 5. It directly conflicts the spotlight on the first poost of this announcement.
A 30% chance to enter a state. If you dont enter it, you remain in previous state! Says nothing of buffs.
How do we know Miike interpreted it correctly on page 5?
If that is accurate, update the first announcement post!!!!!

Like Haji said, you’re having a language issue. It doesn’t say “30% chance TO enter a state.” It says “30% chance ON entering this state...” and stuff will happen. As in, UPON entering this state (which is guaranteed with every 10 hits), there is a 30% chance to gain X bonus effect.
Could it be worded better? Sure. But it’s clear enough as it is. You don’t need to insist that it needs to be changed and that Mike needs to follow up on his follow-up.
Lots of you have been asking if we can add the Stats for 5-Star Champions, in addition to the 4-Star Stats. Well, I am happy to say that moving forward, we will be adding these stats to all Champion Spotlights! This Spotlight has been updated with the Stats, but here they are as well:
Stats based on 5 Star, Rank 5, Level 65, Signature Level 200
Health: 31398
Attack: 2414
Max PI:
Without Signature: 7670
With Signature (200): 10530
if anyone hasnt said it yet, thanks for this miike
I can kinda understand sentry not being that great....
However....
The synergy with void should be better. Semtry by himself can understandably not be too powerful as it is only 1 half. It would make perfect sense to need both to unlock his full potential.
But
Whilst his synergy with void looks good it does not appear to be good enough for this to be the case.

If Sentry is awakened, Reality Warps can be carried forward to next fight. Maybe it works in AQ and AW too.

How does this work ? Multiplier by how much and for which abilities ?

Edit...I cant retract my past post so I get to be wrong forever...will haunt me to my grave....
