Why are you guys making the science class the weakest?

It's become overwhelmingly clear with the release of MODOK and sentry it is the goal of the development team to make science the weakest class and not a counter to mystic, but my question is why? I am legitimately confused as to why you would make the natural mystic counters so bad against mystic champs!
