I have 99k shards right now, more to come soon after I finish Master/Uncollected event quest exploration. I currently don't have any 5* champs at r4 and haven't attempted 5.4 or LoL yet. I originally started saving for Blade, but have been starting to consider Medusa after watching gameplay vids. A couple things to consider in favor of Blade are that I have a 5* skill awakening gem and I have both Stark Spidey and GR as 4* r5. Curious to see if there are any convincing arguments to go for Medusa or if I should keep saving for Blade.
