AI RECOVERS RIGHT BEFORE SP ANIMATION

Is this intended? I observed AIs recovers too fast right before hitting specials.
But if I do it on my end, trying to block before hitting their heavy or special, it wont work.

Try to parry and the use a special. Ive had your problem and it is very frustrating . So that's what I do now lol
