Archangel vs Act 5.4

Hey guys, so I picked up AA in the arena as a featured and I'm pushing to do 5.4 right now. I'm definitely taking him to rank 5 and awakening him, but want to know if anyone can tell me if AA prevents the champs in 5.4 with the Explosive Personality node and Rage node from gaining their buffs with neurotoxin active. Thanks for the help everyone who responds!
