Has the featured been reworked? Today was the given date that only featured and sub featured champs was available. Can anyone confirm?

I opened a bunch got the usual 2 stars but managed to get the crystal to land on a 4* carnage and when the crystal disappeared a cable was standing there.
Save your money..not worth it.
