No war Boss

So just started war and our opponents have chosen to leave the boss nodes empty but fill mini bosses... is this a new strategy to protect points or most likely just a mistake?
Do you still get the 20k points if you take that node despite there being no champ on the node

Yes you do. Is 20k points for completing the map, not for defeating the boss.

In fact, you'll get more points than normal, because you'll get the full 240 attacker bonus as if you'd beaten the boss without dying.

A long time ago, there were 1-2 weeks where it wouldn’t reward the 20k. But that was fixed very quickly.

Haha it is no longer a strategy in the new AW not to place the final boss. Congrats, now your team has the upper hand in this AW! Go for the win by a big margin!
