Mephisto infinite Aura

When fighting the Mephisto in front of Hulk(Ragnarok) in the master mode event quest, I was backed up against the wall while trying to bait Mephs sp2, when I realized that I was close to sp3 with Iceman to reactivate Ice armor and tank the sp3. So I did a five combo into sp3, and right after that Mephisto used his sp3. Now the problem: Mephisto triggered the infinite Aura of Incineration despite Iceman being at 0 power (obviously). Did anyone else experience that? I couldn’t find other discussions about this issue
