Attack Bonus

I need some clarification on how you add up these points. I know you get 3 points if you defeat a member the first time and then 2, 1, or 0 depending how many time you fight them. I also understand the each point is 80 and that there is 450 points total.

But this is what I don’t get, I went through all the fighters in my alliance and added each points depending on the number of defeats each player had and it total 390 but when the war finish it showed 435. This doesn’t add up, please explain @kabammike

I think the unfefended nodes still get points

Ok, but it’s still 450 points and we defeated 80 attackers not 15

Out of those 80, 60 can be counted against the 450 points

Hmm, maybe AW points are based on the US tax code?

Sorry man, you’ve clearly done more work here than me.

So 495 bonus check that against your math and let me know bit im.pretty sure empty.nodes are counting thus 450 isn't right

Yes. There are 55 possible nodes you can place a defender on, and only 50 actual defenders a full battlegroup of ten players can place. According to the rules, if an attacker passes through an undefended node (a node that can host a defender but contains no defender) they get the full attack bonus. This rule is specifically designed to prevent an alliance from simply placing zero defenders and denying their opponent the possibility of getting any attack bonuses. Undefended nodes don't count as zero attacker bonus points, they count as full attacker points for this reason.

When I read the alliance wars update I understood that the 450 they put in the example was the highest you could get. But it’s actually 495 points. Thanks
