Howard the Duck causes bleed??

So I was just fighting Howard the Duck and he got me with a heavy attack and it put 2 bleeds on me.

I've never seen this and can't find it anywhere in his abilities that he causes bleed damage.

The scenario.
I pushed his to his sp3 and he got me with it, then as soon as the screen goes back from animation he goes me with a heavy attack that puts two attacks of bleed on me which in turn KO'd me.
I was using Taskmaster.

PS. I pushed him to sp3 because I didn't care about the outcome, I had already won the series.

Does anybody know how he stacked bleeds on me?

His s3 gives him different abilites based on the opponents class.

The suit’s Catalyst Absorber fires off, granting Howard a temporary Buff for 9 seconds based on the opponent’s Class. While the Buff is active, Howard’s Critical Hits also gain a bonus effect.
Cosmic – Fury Buff + Critical Hits ignore Armor
Tech – Armor Up + Chance to Heal Block on Critical Hits
Mutant – Regeneration + Chance to Armor Break on Critical Hits
Skill – Precision Buff + Chance to Bleed on Critical Hits
Science – Evasion buff + Chance to Poison on Critical Hits
Mystic – Power Gain + Chance to Nullify on Critical Hits
