Can someone please explain champions that are god tier and trash tier i would appreciate it

These terms are just made up terms by the players, and who is which is a matter of opinion.

But in general, the champions most would agree are in the god-tier are the champs that are either the best at some valuable task (for example, dealing pure damage) or have the widest general utility in the game, able to take on a lot of different kinds of content well, if not always the best.

I would recommend ignoring "tiers." If you are a newer player (presumably why you are asking this question) you shouldn't think about champions in terms of best and worst. You should learn what the different kinds of abilities are and why players find them valuable. For example, there are champions considered very good at power control. These are champions that can usually prevent the target from gaining power or can even remove their power. Since champions need power to use specials a champion that can deny another champion power can reduce or completely eliminate the ability for the other champion to use special attacks. That can be very valuable in a fight, especially if you deny the opponent the ability to ever use a special three attack (which are unblockable and unevadeable).

Besides power control, there is sustainability - i.e. healing and regeneration. A lot of content in the game involves very long paths with many fights, and no matter how good you are you will take at least a little damage in each fight. If you take too much damage, you have to use potions for healing or reviving. If you can avoid that with a champion that keeps gaining back health without using potions, you can run content without spending as much or any money, units, potions, or other resources. That's a big benefit.

Other abilities are counters to the kinds of threats harder content will throw at you. Some champions have defensive abilities that react when you hit them and cause you problems, like when Electro damages you back every time you hit him or when Spider Man evades your attacks and then punches you in the face. Champions with ability accuracy reduction can reduce or eliminate the ability for other champs to do this to you.

The game has lots of abilities and counter abilities. Some champs are better at some things, and other champs are better at other things. Knowing which champs are better counters for which kinds of content or threat is much more important than knowing who the "god tier" champs are. Knowing that Blade, Magik, Gwenpool, and Hyperion are god tier is worthless to you unless you know why they are considered god tier, and when you should and should not be using them.
