Using SP1 or SP2 while having a full bar

Ive tried almost everything to use sp1 or sp2 while having a full bar up to sp3. Opponents always do it but i could'nt find the way to do it. Any word on it peeps?

    No, opponent cannot do it either. They only fire an SP2 in story quests, if they have a SP3 full bar.

    In event quests also SP3 needs to be active for them to actually fire it, otherwise it will be SP2.
    They cannot fire an SP1 when SP3 is full.

    how to do it even that? firing an sp2 while having sp3 bar full?

    It is not possible to use while having 3 bar power only in story quests opponent do that

    The AI has to be able to do this.

    In the story quests from Acts 1-4 (and Beginner, Normal and Heroic Event quests) almost all of your opponents are prohibited from using a Special-3 attack. They therefore only have the option of using their SP-2.

    Otherwise they'd get a full power bar and be effectively Power Locked and unable to fire off any specials at all.

    As to why you can't choose, the game is set up this way to encourage you to strategize your attacks and specials to best effect. Sometimes you have to stop your combo early to enable you to fire off the SP-2 you really want, rather than tipping over into a Special-3 which might be less effective in the circumstances. If you were able to choose which attack to use, the game would be played very differently, so it's unlikely to change at this point.

    There is one champ that can do this. Blade.
    If you are at 3 bars, regen a bit and you can get to your desired special.

    The reason for it is really quite simple. It tests your skill and ability. Yes, in certain modes the opponent is not set to use their s3 (certain story and monthly event quests). But in other areas they are set to use it and it takes skill to bait them to use their s1 or s2 sometimes since a s3 could end it for you.

    Just to clarify:

    In many parts of the game, the AI is unable to use SP3. So if they have a full bar, they can only use SP2, which leaves them with a bar of power.
