block damage

in Bugs and Known Issues
I was just playing in Modoks lab on expert and was annoyed by the insane block damage I received this is not the first time I noticed it happened in other modes as well. Is this normal ? I mean getting over 300 damage to block an attack seem a little high if you ask me.
I play on a Apple Ipad air 2.

    yes, its normal, it was part of the update that came out last year called diminishing returns, you get insane damage from blocking or even parrying... it's horrible, no plans to change it, and according to kabam "working as intended"

    Yes, it’s normal against the higher level opponents. It was changed to make the game more difficult. The two main problems with this is that is defies a basic tenet of most fighting games (blocking until you can attack) and there are persistent, long-standing bugs with dashback, blocking, and parrying, which are what you are supposed to be using instead of blocking.
