Linked Nodes in AQ and AW should go away

I like linked nodes in quests. They generate a choice for a single player, choosing which to remove to align the upcoming challenge with your skills and champions you've brought.
However, in team modes like alliance quest and alliance war, they serve a different purpose. You never fight through them because if you just wait, they'll be gone. So, they are not a challenge for a player to face, they are a challenge to an alliance's time management and availability. For this reason, I firmly believe they are redundant. We already have limited energy on a timer, linked nodes really only punish people who go on vacation with their families or work different hours or live in a different time zone. That's really not what the game should be about at all.
Please remove linked nodes from AQ and AW, it would improve the playability of the game drastically, with zero impact on the actual challenge of these modes.
