Can’t log in on iPad since update. Help!

When I got the new update, I downloaded it on my new phone and my iPad Air 2 simultaneously. It went to the typical “Enraging Hulk..” screen and everything downloaded. The download finished on both devices like normal. I restarted the game on my phone and played it a bit, everything was fine. Later on, I go to play on my iPad and the intro screens come up as the game starts (the Marvel screen, and the background with Corvus Glaive and Proxima) the little Game Center thing shows up at the top of my screen “Welcome user” like normal, then I get a persistent “Cannot connect to the network. Please check your connection and try again.” I DO have internet connection, but 3 days later it’s the same message. I know I’m not banned, I can still play on my phone and I play fair so what’s going on? Can you guys fix this please? My iPad is my default MCOC device.
