Just stop the scheduled maintenance during Alliance events already

Kabam, you know you have scheduled maintenance every week. There's no reason you can't just have alliance wars and alliance quests scheduled around these bits of downtime.

It's just dumb at this point, handicapping some alliances right before they're all about to go to bed because you have some weird rules about when AQ and AW are live that are so uneven that they always fall into periods of down time.

A similar argument could be made for Arena, too. Move the crappy Sunday arena to Tuesday already.

How long does maintenance last usually

AW isn't affected by maintenance at all. Sunday is the last day you can initiate matchmaking, so your war is going to end Tuesday evening, several hours before maintenance begins.

Also, everyone who has played this game for more than a few weeks knows (or should know) that Tuesday night is maintenance. If the game going down for an hour or 2 is enough to prevent your alliance from completing AQ, then try running an easier map on Tuesdays.

And you also get inbox reminders/warnings about it. If it's that important to you, maybe set an alarm so you can get your attacks in before the maintenance window.
