Expert Proving Grounds

I was wondering why the Expert Proving Grounds takes more energy on one rotation than the other. On the day when it was vertical it took around 48 energy. Today when it's horizontal it only takes 36. Any reason to why?

I think it's the same. The path with local nodes is longer though

Yeah checked again today, and it's longer. One of them has twelve nodes, and the other has fifteen per path.
