Gold/alpha wars idea...hear me out

Like most players, at a certain point your roster of 2* and 3* champs just sits around and collects dust.
Most everyone is complaining about not having enough gold or t1 alphas.
I have a solution...how about alpha/gold wars. Where you can only use 2*/3* champs.
They could run opposite your normal AW or for shorter time.
I think it would be fun to use champs that haven’t been used in a long time.
Thoughts?
