Out of season war ranking?

When AW seasons start back up, do we start where we left off last season or where we currently sit before the new season begins? Apologies if this has already been covered, I didn't see it. If it's the latter, how do we know where we are without the leaderboard?

Currently you sit nowhere, as you have no Season score. When the season starts you begin with zero points, just like every other alliance.

"Now, we have seen a few questions about what happens with Alliance Wars during this break. We can confirm that Alliance Wars will continue to operate in the time between Seasons, and you can continue to move up or down in Alliance War Tiers, and gain or lose War Rating."

I just want clarification because as of now we're running 1 BG during the break, and I would like to know that even with wins if we're moving down in ranks because of missing out on points from the additional BGs.

It's because you're confusing War Rating with your Season score.

So if our alliance was sitting in hard tier when season ended but moved up to expert by the time the next season begins, we would start in expert?

Yes, your War Rating tier is not affected by the start of the Season.

There are tiers 1-2-3 etc etc. There are season brackets master, platnum, gold, etc based on your score.

Tiers and war rating are independent of seasons. These are established systems. It changes up or down based on every war in or out of season.

During the season, points you win from wars are multiplied by a number depending on your tier and added. Your ranking with these points determine's your bracket.

So these wars outside of seasons would help/hurt your starting point for tier when the next war starts, but nothing else related to points or bracket.
