I started a rift and got 1 fight in then game went down for maintence . Will I continue where I left off?

You wasted the shards just like I did. Tablet started slowing down for some reason just had to move to the last slot after the last fight. Maintenance came and bam I now am missing the shards to be able to run all the rifts.
