Infinity Dust Converted to Gold at the end of the Event?

Will any infinity dust not spent in the store be converted to gold as was the case with Valor?

Since for 18000 dust you get a gold crystal which will most likely be 2400 gold.... I doubt it

I hope so. If I can’t make the 5* awakening gem or at least a good chunk of 5* shards I might not spend any

The initial gold Crystal cost 20,000 valor back in November... I'm hopeful.

Has this been announced or discussed anywhere else that I have overlooked?
