Will infinity dust be converted into gold?

No a regular forum user so this might have been addressed before.
But I am wondering if the left over infinity dust will be converted to gold at the end of this event or if it will simply be removed. Thanks.

    Miike said it'll just disappear and won't convert to anything so best off using it

    Only dust that will convert to gold is ones you purchased from unit store when they had that deal
