Carnage Buff Ideas [Based on 5/50 4*]

These are all additions to current abilities, not replacements. The ‘Heavy Attacks’ is the only ability to replace the original. Values are all approximate. For example, ~400 means “about 400.”

Abilities

Blood Bond
Every time Carnage bleeds, more of the symbiote is released from his bloodstream and he gains ~800 attack rating and ~500 additional physical resistance for the duration of the bleed. When the Bleed expires, Carnage gains a permanent Fury passive, granting ~300 attack rating.

Carnage does not take damage from any Bleed effects. Bleed effects do not trigger the Willpower mastery. (Alternatively, all Bleeds on Carnage could be changed to Bleed passives)

Mutual Insanity
Critical hits landed by either combatant have a 20% chance to grant a Madness charge for 6 seconds.

If Carnage is struck or his block is struck while he has a Madness charge, the symbiote will Regenerate the amount of damage taken tripled, then the Madness charge is removed.

If Carnage gains a second Madness charge while one is already active, the charges convert to a Bloodlust charge, lasting for 7 seconds.

Bloodlust charges double damage for Bleeds inflicted during its duration. Madness charges cannot be gained while Bloodlust is active.

Heavy Attacks (Replaces current heavy effect)
If Bloodlust is active, place a Bleed debuff dealing ~4000 damage over 60 seconds. This can only happen once per fight and cannot be refreshed. The bleed effect is not doubled by Bloodlust.

Addition to current L1 ability
Carnage gains ~500 additional critical damage rating for the duration of this attack.

Addition to current L2 ability
Carnage gains an additional ~500 critical rating during this attack.

Landing a critical hit during this attack grants a Bloodlust charge, lasting for 10 seconds.

Addition to current L3 ability
This attack grants a Bloodlust charge, lasting for 15 seconds.

If the opponent has any current bleed debuffs, they are refreshed with Bloodlust active. This does not affect the bleed inflicted by this attack or Bleed inflicted by a heavy attack.

Final Notes (not in champion description)
Bleed bonuses can stack per bleed. The Fury passives can stack, too. If Carnage goes against an opponent that continuously causes bleed, such as Morningstar with 1 charge, his attack will increase for every bleed and it will persist for the duration of the fight. Against any BS bleed champ, Carnage will wreck shop.

Now that I’ve thought of Caltrops in Act 5, I want to add that Carnage should be limited to 10 permanent fury passives. Still big damage.
