AW Matchmaking suggestion

So there are several issues with matchmaking but I want to address matchmaking that results in less AW for the week.
Some alliances miss the cutoff time before "This is temporarily disabled"
I propose the following automatic, scheduled system. Have the officers preselect 1, 2, or 3 battlegroups, before matchmaking starts. Then on Wednesday 11 am PST, the system matches all the groups automatically. When AW ends on Friday, the system automatically does it again. And finally, on Sunday, the system does it again.
If you want to change the # of battlegroups, just change it before the system schedules the matchmaking.
This also discourages alliance switching.
