AI special activation

I have noticed lately that the AI can activate a special while they are being combo’ed. They can also active while parried stunned. Happening on arena, event quest and in AW. Is this a known bug?

It’s a visual thing. Sped up frame rate is making it look like they are. It’s annoying. I faced a start with 1 bar of power node in war today and before I could even control my champ either block or evade the ai fired the special.
